I'm desperate here. I need a few things from places NOT IN CANADA, because as we know, CANADA never has anything I want.
If there is anyone from the South who could do me a MASSIVE favor and buy me some grits, I'd LOVE you forever, and ever, amen and even throw an extra $10 bucks your way. INTERNET. I. NEED . ME. SOME. GRITS.
Buffalo has no grits. They have hominy, but momma don't like that stuff. I want grits, Grits, GRITS. Cheese grits. Buttered grits, someone PLEASE send me some grits!
I swear I'll paypal you this afternoon if you send me some.
I picked up this scrubber thingy while I was in FL in January. It has a blue scrubby side that is fairly thin and the other side (which is approx. 2 inches wide) is a white hard scratchy thing (kind of like lava rock). It's shaped in a rectangular block and I OF COURSE threw away the package, so I have no idea what brand it is. I've googled my fingers off and I still can't find out what the hell it's called, but PEOPLE, I need another one. Some wiseacre LOST (ha!) the one I had and now I'm sobbing into my wineglass at 9:30 am because it was the ONLY thing that cleaned up my ceramic stovetop like brand-new. BRAND-NEW. Do you hear me? It was a wonderful lava-rock-scratchy-scrubby sponge and now IT'S GONE. I've searched in 3 different Buffalo stores and they NO GOTS. *edited to add* This is NOT a sponge. It's some sort of high-falutin' scrubber scratchy block. The white thick side is very hard and crunchy and the thin blue side is essentially just a faux Scotch-Brite scrubber.
If you find one (or two!) can you please buy it for me? Once again, I'll send you waaaay more than the thing is worth, just to have the satisfaction of having a clean stovetop again.
Please email me, Dear Internet. I'm desperate. Between the grits cravings and the need to clean my house, I'm a MESS. Can't you see that I'm wearing jammies?
And now? I'm off to have my legs deveined.
