I watched this movie last night after The Amazing Race (Fie on Ambuuuh and Rob! Hate them BOTH!) and was totally ENTRANCED. (Like ignoring my children's pleas for MORE, WATER MUMMY and the fact that my bandage TOTALLY itched. WILL. NOT SCRATCH.) If you are ordering Netflix or going to Blockbuster, please do yourself a favor and rent this movie.
It's not that I'm totally in luuuurve with Alan Rickman, which I SO AM (mustache be damned), it's just the movie is so haunting and so very TRUE about relationships and LOVE.
Alas! I am getting my stitches out tomorrow afternoon and I'm pleading with all of internet-land that my leg has mystophorically healed and there SHALL BE NOW MORE BLEEDING. Amen. Hopefully my doctor is not too tired/drunk/or hepped up on Eastery chocolates to actually do a good job.
Many, many thanks for the kind notes sent my way. They were truly, truly sweet and really did pick up my flagging spirits. I shall knit you all wee potholders over the holiday weekend. (Although the weird
"bitch" "lady" who proclaimed to be a doctor and say that my Leg Trauma was from leukemia and NOT from a blown vein can just, well, suck it. I mean really, you call yourself "a educated doctor" but can't compose an email without serious spelling/grammar problems? Uh-huuuuh. Even MY bumbling/mumbling doctor can spell.
How Hootie got his PlayStation stolen, man! Wheee!
