Have had a ginormous amount of children in my house over the weekend: playdates, video-game get-togethers and general insanity. My children have NOT stopped watching Elf since I bought the DVD last week. Can you guess if I now know all the words? Ding-ding! "I love smiling! Smiling is my favorite!"
Also ran a wreath-making workshop for the girls at the eldest son's best friend's house. Heh. We got to mess up her house with the fresh piney scent of greens. We had some gorgy results though:
Am now on deadline for 11 million things, all of of which MUST BE DONE by Friday. I'm also hosting the PWAC annual potluck at my house tomorrow night and the house is FULL to the CEILING with little bits o'pine and eucalyptus from my wreath that I made over the weekend, since I DIDN'T get a chance to make it during the workshop. I was too busy screeching at people to use MORE wire! Dammit! It looks like a hairy inner tube!
Ahem. I know I need to stop being so anal about my crafts.
In other news:
My nose won't stop running and I've got this divine, dahling, headache. I have deduced that I've gotten an early Christmas gift: my bi-annual sinus infection. I can't go to the doctor because of said deadlines, so I'm living on DayQuils, baby.
Am taking two hours today to go see the Polar Express with the daughter, middle son and 58 of their classmates. Yay! A Field trip with a bajillion kids! Am looking forward to seeing the movie though because the book was fabbola.
